ALAMAK!

Want to watch an ageing "superman" Malaysian version in action?



or have you always wonder how a Malaysianised Wolverine will look like? (seriously, the other option for Wolverine would be my husband as some of my friends would say..haha)

...and have you been fantasizing about that sexy king kong in pink panties? Yes you read that right...king kong, not Paris Hilton. Haha..

Well, if you answer yes to all the above question then prepare yourself to be entertained by ALAMAK, the latest comedy series to be aired on Astro Ria (Channel 104) commencing on 5 August 2009 (which is next Wednesday people) at 9.30pm! If you are still in the blur, well ALAMAK's concept is more or less like Scary movies where they will do comedy spoof on Malaysian and Hollywood films (hence the Superman, Wolverine and King Kong lah!) . This half an hour show has actually sort of like film feel and has definitely a higher quality production compared to many programmes out there.

I know I know..hungry for more ALAMAK after seeing that sexy king king pose kan? Haa..here's the trailer especially for you guys!

Immitating Cruz Beckham's hair is not going to be easy



Husayn's hair has gone a tad too messy for my liking and he's the kind of kid who sweat a lot since he can never be still even for a minute.

I acually have to kejar him around the house just to sikat his rambut! By the time I finished combing his hair I felt like I have just finished running the 100m sprint. Haha.

I am still toying around with the ideas of him gunting his rambut at the mamak haircut nearby or just did it myself since that's what I usually did anyway. And then I saw Cruz Beckham's (who is also David Beckham's youngest son) hair and I thought nice! Just perfect with a kid who sweat a lot and have a hard time to comb his hair..Heck, I don't even need to comb his hair anymore! Just some ruffling of his hair here and there will do. Haha.

The thing is I have to send him to kedai gunting rambut if I am going to force Husayn to do that Cruz Beckham's hair and I can already imagine how he will be screaming and kicking. Oh my.Seriously, I am getting irritated at people asking me "ni boy ke girl ni?" Argh. Should have bought a t shirt that read "I AM A BOY" for Husayn..haha.

My very first 3g phone..seriously.Haha.

This is exactly like mine!

I have finally get my hands on the Nokia Xpress Music 5730! Honestly, before this I have never bothered about this handphone thing. I mean as long as I can call and receive call, or sms and receive sms, that should be good enough. But I guess when you have your own blog you just feel the extra need to have a phone with camera, can WiFi, can view documents, can MMS, yada yada...

Here's the benefit of having an Xpress Music 5730, well at least from my point of view lah:

1. Can listen to radio while working in the office! My office blocked all those streaming online radio station and when you have been listening to the same mp3 over and over again, radio stations will be a nice option. Hihi.

2. Husayn Zharief can watch his favourite YouTube video while breastfeeding. Oh I lovee this one! It gets tiring to sit for hours (ok I'm exaggerating here..haha) while I have to layan his request to watch this video and that video and then have to tahan listening to him screaming "Mama ni tak best!". Now I can baring for hours and have the phone in my hand and he can watch the video happily.

3. I have been spending some times reading the supposedly continuation for the Twilight Saga on my phone. Yes, this one is supposedly entitled Midnight Sun and from Edward's point of view (you can download it at Stephenie Meyer's official site if you want to). It gets uncomfortable and my eyes go boing boing at first because I was reading on handphone. The file is in pdf file so you have to scroll here and there and it's 200+ pages. But after a while I get used to it and quite like the idea of reading through a phone. Haha.

4. Have you seen the phone QWERTY keypad? Totally love it! I usually surf the net using that qwerty keypad, but if you don't want to you also can use the normal handphone keypad and just slide in the qwerty one. Coolness!

5. Oh the GPS..I am totally hopeless when it comes to direction so having a GPS at the convenience of my own phone is a great help! But really, this is not like a guarantee that I won't get lost anymore. I know I will. I usually do anyway.

Well it's been a few days and I have no complain about this phone. Only thing is sometimes the camera button is quite hard to push. But the quality is ok lah for a 3.2MP camera phone. Did you know I use the VGA camera for my previous phone? Haha..so that's a big improvement for me.

If you are wondering why I did not buy the Nokia Xpress Music 5800 instead, it's because I'm not really into this touch screen phone. I have slippery fingers so it's not exactly a good idea to get that type of phone. Hehe.

Hidung sumbat dan kepala pening tapi doktor kata bukan H1N1.Alhamdulillah.

Sudah down with flu sejak Jumaat dan sangat- sangat tertekan dengan air con office yang melampau sejuk. Saya sudah kelihatan seperti orang Badwi yang berjalan jalan di padang pasir dengan muffler yang dijadikan penutup muka. Hihi.

Hari Ahad saya pergi Midvalley sebab nak pergi Maybank Treats Fair. Tapi bila dah keluar baru perasan tertinggal Husayn Zharief punya kasut kat rumah. Siapa lah yang larat nak angkat budak seberat 12kg itu berjalan-jalan di sekeliling Midvalley jadi terpaksalah saya dan suami mencari selipar untuk budak kenit itu. Jadi kita orang masuklah Jusco kat Midvalley tu. Ya Allah ramainya orang. Kalau kat cashier lagi ramai yang beratur panjang. Tengok je line tu kepala saya dah start sakit yelah sebab memang tengah kena flu kan.

Cari punya cari terjumpalah selipar ala-ala Crocs tapi harga RM15. Saya memang orang yang kedekut sikit jadi ok la kan RM15 tu. Lepas tu saya tryla jalan jalan dulu cari kaunter yang kurang orang sikit. Bila jalan-jalan baru perasan ada la beberapa kaunter kosong, tapi masalahnya kaunter tu tutup dan cashier pon memang takde. Jadi dengan tensennya terpaksalah saya balik ke kaunter yang kena beratur panjang tu sambil menyumpah nyumpah Jusco sebab tak berapa nak pandai bukak kaunter banyak-banyak sikit. Isk takkan tu pon nak kena ajar kan. Eh sorry tengah pre-pms tu yang asyik nak marah je. Haha.

Saya beratur selama setengah jam dan dengan cashier tu pon saya jadi tensen sebab lembab sangat. Cubalah cergas sikit macam cashier kat Giant kecik Kelana Jaya. Tensen ni. Setelah beratur selama setengah jam akhirnya sampailah giliran saya. Muka dah masam gila ni. Bole pulak si cashier ni tanya
"Akak takde duit kecik ke"
Kalau saya nak kasi dia duit RM500 untuk bayar kasut harga RM15 ni saya fahamla dia takde duit kecik. Ni saya nak kasi dia RM50. Takkan takde duit nak kasi baki RM35. Ni nak hangin ni. Lepas tu saya cakap je la takde. Saya tertekan betul kadang-kadang kalau orang berniaga takde duit kecik ni, lebih-lebih lagi lepas kena beratur panjang kan. Hahah. Nasib baik la ada duit baki RM35 kalau tak haruslah kena lecture adik cashier tu. Eiii.

Kesimpulannya janganlah pergi shopping time anda pre-pms, pening kepala, dan berhingus. Pasti rasa nak lepuk orang. Hahaha.

Sorry lah ye takde gambar hari ni. Muka tengah banyak jerawat sebab Husayn Zharief dengan bijak telah ambil berus blusher saya dan buat sapu lantai. Lepas tu saya lagi bijak ambik je berus tu sebab saya tak teringat yang dia sapu lantai guna berus tu - dan saya sapu blusher di muka dengan berus yang dah dibuat sapu lantai. Sekarang di tulang pipi banyaklah hiasan jerawat. Hahaha. Sungguh amusing.

The Twilight Tea Party Experience

Remember my LURVE affair with Twilight? Well, we had this videoshoot on Friday for me to express my huge lurve to Twilight. I had the videoshoot at my auntie's house since her house is empty during the day and I thought perfect for the video shoot compared to my parents' house. I mean really, I don't want my parents to see me doing the videoshooting. It will be total embarassment!

So since the people at Nuffnang asked me to be creative for the photoshoot, I ended up with the above. Thank you to Hostess to the Mostess for providing the download to all the movie quotes and providing most of the ideas. So now you can see it's not exactly my original idea.Haha. Don't you just love the internet?

I actually went to the print shop to print that A4 size poster since I don't actually own any Twilight poster. As for the video shoot session, I was like stammering all over - I mean come on this is my first time being officially video-d so excuse my tongue tiedness there. Tihihi.

That is the supposed to be the dinner table. But we only have one apple each. Wonder why I decorate everything in red and black? Well, that's because it's sort of the official colour for the Twilight Saga book cover. As for the apple, that was a tribute to the cover of Twilight. But seriously sedap gila apple tu. I bought the apples at Giant in a rush because I was rushing to my auntie's house and it was already late. Good thing I grabbed the right apple!

I even have the warning sign here pasted on the door! If you are wondering what is the warning all about, it refers to the incident in New Moon when Bella was attacked by Jasper due to papercut. Just wait until New Moon the movie come out this November and you can see it for yourself, or really just check out the New Moon trailer. It was all there.

That was me and Husayn munching LURVE on the couch. My aunt will going to have a heart attack if she actually saw the mess all over the floor!

And this is me again feeling all relieved because shooting is finally over. You can watch me make fool of myself when they air this thing. Hahaha. Will inform you guys when it will be on air soon! By the way special thanks to Amin and Helmi of 8tv who have been so super patient waiting for me and my lines and then watched me stumbling my lines all over and still be patient. You guys are the best!

Husayn: Adikla mama yang buat tu..
Me: Apsal adik conteng ni?
Husayn: Sebab adik nak naughty naughty lah mama...

Haha. Seriously, how do you answer that? Sungguh tak percaya budak comel yang cakap banyak ni adalah anak saya. Meh sini mama cubit sikit. Hihi.

Yes, the above is truly Husayn's artwork on my bedsheet. I don't know why but I thought that drawing is really adorable. Never mind for the fact it will stay there forever. Heheh.

p/s:Can you believe it that Yasmin Ahmad has passed away? just watched the breaking news at Astro Awani and totally in shock. Makes you think how your life can be snatched away any second once your ajal is due. Al-Fatihah to her.

Don't watch Confessions of a Shopaholic. Go read the book instead.

Call me outdated again, but I just watched Confessions of A Shopaholic. I know that movie was like aeons ago but I just never got around to buy the DVD earlier. I hate to say this, but that movie has really let me down. Well, I thought the novel was quirky and funny and Becky Bloomwood is totally outrageous. But the movie, well let's see. It was funny once in a while but honestly I really hate her outrageous clothes. Too colourful, too pinkish, oh my silau mata! The story line is okay-lah though the setting is in New York instead of London.

Seriously, go watch The Devil Wears Prada for a better fashion sense instead.

Oh speaking of Confession, I have one confession to make here. Have you ever want something so bad that you don't care whether or not you have money to buy it? I mean there's always credit card kan? *wink*wink* See, I'm in my Becky Bloomwood mode here.

Not exactly sick, but definitely tired and stuck with work. Argh!

Hullo!

Today is really super tiring because we reached home around 1.30am last night after attending my cousin's birthday party at Seremban.

It's a low key birthday party since it was held on weekday and some of my makciks and pakciks cannot make it. But nevertheless it was super meriah!

Husayn Zharief's eyes has returned back to normal so the Japanese look is all gone. Hehehe. Husayn was of course all quiet because he's not that familiar with the place. By the way, thanks for all the concerns and wishes regarding the bee stung incident. The mata bulat is back with a vengeance!

Ok now I feel kelakar la pulak because his hair is like that. No wonder strangers keep asking me while pointing at Husayn - " boy or girl?" But really, I like Husayn's hair and trying to preserve the curls. Kehkeh. SO now the hair ended up pintal pintal all over and if you pull his hair it will reach way past his shoulder. Heheh.

Oh yes, I have just been informed that I am selected for the LURVE Top 3! So super duper excited! I'm supposed to have some sort of videotaping session to express my LURVE for Twilight, so I hope everything will work just fine. Watch out for my first ever 8tv Quickie appearance too which is supposedly somewhere in August! Will keep you posted on this later!

Stung by a bee Saturday has stopped me from going to IKEA sale on Sunday!

Muhammad Ali once quoted "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee", and in the case of Mohammed Husayn Zharief, he managed to be stung by a bee and not sting like one. Heheh. Outside our house, right in front of the front door, lately there seems to be a group of bees flying by. I' ve been telling my father he should just call the bomba to get rid of the bees but of course, he will not listen.

I myself have been stung twice in the feet, Husayn has also been stung twice (not including this latest one) and my sister also got a nice bee marks right under her feet. But the latest bee attack on Husayn has totally leave me feel this burning rage to go burn down the bees colony residing in the compound of our house myself. Well, actually Husayn got stung by ONE bee, but look what my kid has turned into:

This was around 5 hours after being stung. You can see the left eye is starting to go all swollen.

And this is the next morning. My God, I really got the shock of my life! He could barely open his left eye.

I thought all the badly swollen face will make him moody. But of course he only laughed seeing his face like that, as I of course was worrying to death. We rushed him to clinic and he got the injection and medication.

Alhamdulillah the swollen has lessened now and he's getting better, but kelakar to see his face sebelah sepet, sebelah mata bulat. Kehkeh. And he look really naughty and mischievous with that sepet eyes!

Actually if you got sting by a bee (bukan yang banyak banyak tu ya..) you can instantly apply the ubat gigi on the bite marks. Get out of the sengat first if you can. But in the case of Husayn it is totally impossible to apply the ubat gigi since the bee attacked right under his eye. I did use the ubat gigi method and it works fine. But really, go to the doctor as soon as you can. Once you get the injection and medication it should be okay.

Watching Man United training session with a Liverpool fan is not so bad at all

Weekend was horrible due to Husayn being sting by a bee and now his face has swollen the size of ping pong ball. Heck, I don't even recognise him anymore! Anyway today is all about the Man U training session on Friday.

I came in red of course. But here's a secret, despite being a Man U fans since I was 13, I have never bought any Man U jersey. Hihihi. We reached Bukit Jalil around 4 something and the place was already swarmed with sea of reds.

Husayn was in his Man U t shirt and the place is totally like pasar malam with food and drinks everywhere! Oh see, I was actually there with Wayne Rooney! Haha..that was husband with his new haircut. I got the shock of my life the first time I saw it.

The training session was free seating, so I managed to grab the best seat available which is not that far from the pitch.

Oh forgot to tell you I came here with a Malaysian fan, my brother! A lot of people kept tegur-ing him and yell "go Malaysia!" as he made his way to the stadium. Certainly, one of the most popular person that day, my brother. Haha.

Sorry I don't have big ass DSLR camera, and this is the best that this cikai camera of mine can give me. What the heck. I was quite disappointed Park Ji Sung was not there, and Vidic too, but from my view, I can definitely recognise Berbatov (since he's the tallest of 'em all!), Rooney (how can you miss that Shrek face! ) and Anderson (the only one with the long hair). They pusing the whole field for three times and FRU was everywhere.

We also did the Mexican wave, my favourite football match 'ritual'!

My 'Wayne Rooney' who is actually a Liverpool fan but who has to bear with me who keep insisting " we just have to go to this training session!"

I lovee going to stadium in the afternoon. Love the crowd and the gorgeous pitch, well at least from far lah. We should have more afternoon match instead of at night!

As we made our way outside after the training session finished, there were crowds outside for the Shout Awards. By the way did you catch the Man U vs Malaysia match? I watched it on tv and I was truly impressed with the Malaysian team! Just wondering whether that 'impressed' feeling will be long live. Can't wait for the re-match tonight and see how Malaysian team will fare!

Husband also got two training pass from the TimeOut KL contest and that means we have 4 passes. Sweet. Hihi.

Yang sedih cuma tak dapat free ticket for tomorrow's match je. :(

Keluarga Ultraman telah menyertai kumpulan nasyid Husayn Zharief

The above is Mohammed Husayn Zharief punya kumpulan nasyid. Haha. You have the rabbit that is being choked by the Apit G (gruesome stuff it is!) , the bears, the fish and of course the Ultraman family.

Oh I forgot, there's the panda too! My brother helped Husayn arranged his little kumpulan nasyid. Once everything is in order he will start to selawat. Kehkeh. Husayn's current favourite artistes are Raihan and Sami Yusuf. Sejuk perut mama ni mengandung..hihihi.

Once the selawat is over, he ride his tolo car and wonder what he'll do next ya? By the way his hair is in dire need of haircut. I got a lot of people asking me whether he is a boy or girl! Anyway the rambut already resemble a helmet. Hahaha.

Sorry rabbit yang ber apit G. Did not manage to save you from the ribut that is my son and his tolo car. The same goes to the fallen ultramans too.

On another note, the other day bought this ultra cool highcut converse shoes for Husayn at Moleygarden. Tapi unfortunately tak muat la pulak! Frustnya! Unfortunately the above size is the biggest in red, and I've been searching for ages for a red colour shoes for Husayn. Luckily Melor from Moleygarden has been kind enough to let me exchange the above shoes. But not in red la sebab dah takde size, in yellow pulak. Harap harap muat.

What I do for a living is kind of tricky question

I've been tagged by Little Mama. I am supposed to post something about what I do for a living here. Hehe, ok tricky question.

As some of you know, I work in a government agency for 1 1/2 year already. Some people might associate working with government 'boring' or not mind-boggling at all, but really I love my job here, and I gotta tell you that I am one fickle minded person, who keep changing minds every few years. I used to work as a designer for 5 years, no surprise there since I graduated from Faculty of Creative Multimedia. But then I got bored, I felt that I was not in the right direction path for my career (ceh career tu! haha), bosses who don't appreciate your work and that was when I joined the government.

Ini adalah semalam apabila memakai baju dan tudung terang seperti traffic light.

So what do I actually do here? Well, I am no longer a designer and my card reads - INTAN ZALANI - Assistant Manager. As an Assistant Manager really, there's no limit on what you could or could not do. I write reports, do directory, monitor the printing room, involve in events, sometimes even organise event, go for factory visits, and I think the last line in my Fail Meja best described it
" Tugas - tugas lain yang di arahkan dari masa ke semasa"

So if you see why suddenly my blog contents lack contents and nothing worth reading, I am doing my service to the country - menjalankan tugas-tugas lain yang di arahkan dari semasa ke semasa. Kehkehkeh.

Remember the question that interviewer love to ask about "How do you see yourself in 5 or 10 years?" If it's me the answer would be definitely pass my PTK and earn more money, go up the ladder to grade 44 and more, and being posted oversea of course which hopefully are somewhere in LA, New York, London or Milan! That would be super cool! You see, I used to have this dream wanting to study or work oversea but never ever got the chance. So what's the best place to work but an agency which have more than 40 offices worldwide and then some more. Tapi janganlah dihantar ke oversea semasa kes H1N1 ni. Haha.. Jadi kesimpulannya diharap impian menjadi kenyataan.
Serius best keje sini, sekarang ada jawatan kosong, siapa nak silalah apply tapi untuk Gred 41 lah. Haha, tolong promote ni.

The lurve screen test @ 8tv got me professing my love for Edward Cullen

This is yours truly in One World after finishing my first ever screen test at 8tv. Why on earth they would want to screen test me? Haha..read on..

Remember the My Lurve Affair with Twilight entry? Apparently, that particular entry was selected to attend the screen test at 8tv last Sunday. There were like 7 of us and I was the oldest and also the only Malay there. I was the last one and while waiting, got to lepak with Elaine, a blogger who I just knew at that screening test.

I am a virgin when it comes to being in front of camera so I honestly don't know how did I fare. I was totally a nervous wreck and kelam kabut all the way, but I did tell the crew and producer I am sooo looking forward to be interviewed by 8tv Quickie's Henry Golding! Hahaha. I simply answer whatever questions they throw at me and I think I would've look terrible in the video.
Anyway if selected to be the top 3, they promised Henry Golding will interview me and I will appear on Quickie, but then come to think of it, fat hopes! Oh well, let's just wait and see..

Missing on Man United tickets and a funeral

Liverpool greatest manager, Bill Shankly (excuse me Rafa Benitez..haha) once said this-
" Some people believe football is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that"

I beg to differ though. On Saturday as I was planning to go redeem my precious Man United ticket at One Utama, I ended up going to a funeral instead at Kg Puah, Gombak (izzit Gombak or Setapak..whatever lah..haha)

He is actually my uncle's wife father and we called him Atuk. I haven't been to his house for quite a few years despite the fact that he also live in KL. He passed away in his sleep on Friday and please sedekah your Al fatihah to him.
That was me under a tree in the graveyard by the way. The above baju kurung is my official funeral 'uniform'. Hehe. I've never wear that to work nowadays, and it will only get to go out in the daylight if somebody died. I even wore the very same baju kurung when I attended my father-in-law funeral 2 years ago!
That's Husband and my cousin, Ian. One smoking a cigarette, the other one sucking on his lollipop. No prize for guessing who did what. The above pic is not at the graveyard ya. After the funeral we went back to my uncle's wife family home and we ate and sleep and lepak some more.
See what everybody else are doing? That's my parents, nyai and uncle borak borak with each other. That uncle of mine actually said to me " Orang Malaysia tak takut H1N1..dia orang takut B1N1 je.." hahah..Paham tak lawak tu? B1N1 = bini.
Husayn was of course happily playing outside the house since there were quite a number of kids. He also kept insisting "Mama..jom pergi kejar ayam!" Haha.

And then I saw the above motorbike! My uncle used to pick me up from school using the very same motorbike and it does bring back old memories. Anyway we ended up staying until the tahlil and went back home at 12midnight. Good thing I brought my perfume along because I was wearing the same baju kurung for the whole day! As for Man United, maybe I'll try my luck elsewhere. Hehe. I read in The Star's yesterday that people actually spent overnight in One Utama just to get their hands on the Man United tickets. Crazy, ha!

This week has gone by so fast and I cannot believe it is already Friday! Anyway, yesterday we had this MLM talk in the office. Ever heard of Steven's Tea Garden? Well, in case you are wondering, I am not trying to promote this MLM thing here, heck I am just too lazy to join one though I admit I have been to a number of talks for various MLM companies. No offence to these MLMs, but honestly, I'd rather earn my my money through blogging, easier and can be done anywhere.

Yours truly also have been searching high and low for vintage/bands/rockin' t-shirt for Husayn. That's what you got if you have a mother (sayalah itu!) who spent teenage years wishing she could go to to Woodstock or Glastonbury. Kehkeh. Well in case you are wondering what on earth is Woodstock or Glastonbury, those are super cool big music festival where the biggest bands played. Anyway, if you spot the below shirts (or the likes of it) in toddler size (2-3 year old) anywhere in Malaysia, online or offline do inform me ya!

I heart vintage and I heart the Beatles and the above is actually in Husayn's size!


Too Tough To Cry? Ye lah tu..pergi Sarakids pun nangis, jumpa strangers pun nangis..Haha. Anak siapalah tu ya?I love pop art especially Andy Warhol kind of style and I think the above Jimi Hendrix shirt really got that Warhol look and feel!
And Red Hot Chilli Peppers' are one of my favourite band ever!
Or if else fails, the best option would be forcing your kid to wear the above shirt, so you will look like the best mom ever. Haha.

Membaca sajak adalah di antara hobi kegemaran

Sorry hari ni entry boring sikit sebab nak cerita pasal poems. Saya memang ada sedikit fetish dengan poems sebab saya sangat suka gabungan ayat-ayat hebat yang sangat bermakna dan menusuk jiwa. Sekarang ni pun bila bosan-bosan saya bacakanlah Husayn Zharief poem apa2 yang ada sambil dia hisap susu. Letih juga membaca ni sebenarnya sambil susukan anak sebab saya agak malas nak pegang buku. Haha. Tapi mengikut kajian elok bacakan buku ke apa2la untuk budak2 ni sebab time ni la otak dia senang terima kan. Yang best sekali kadang-kadang buku tu terjatuh sendiri dari tangan saya sebab saya tertidur, tapi Husayn tak tidur pun lagi. Isk

Poem ni macam dari orang yang mati tu punya point of view. Disebabkan Michael Jackson pon sudah tiada, saya rasa ni macam sesuai untuk dia. Eh ada sesiapa tengok memorial Michael Jackson tu tak? Sedihnya tengok Paris Jackson tu. Saya memang agak sentimental sikit, sorry ya. Hehe. OK, kalau poem cinta pulak How Do I Love Thee dari Elizabeth Barrett Browning adalah sangat disukai!

Ayat kegemaran adalah "I love thee with a love I seemed to lose". Macam kononnyala orang yang tulis ni pernah dikecewakan, so dia rasa cinta tu dah makin hilang dari dia, tapi cinta baru ni membuatkan dia merefresh balik cinta yang dah nak hilang tu. Haha, gila ayat saya ni. Paham ke? Eh saya juga terjumpa poem yang agak lawak pasal boobies (haha..malu nak translate melayu sebab rasa macam obvious sangat.haha) dan cubalah baca. Dan alasan nak ada anak sebelum umur 16 adalah sangat lawak. Gwen Stefani pun ada anak dalam umur 30an, takdenya lah tuanya. Dia lagi cun ada.

Kredit kad bersedia untuk bekerja keras di musim Malaysia Mega Sale!

Sekarang adalah musim Malaysia Mega Sale! Sudahkah anda pergi membeli belah? Heheh. Pada hari Sabtu yang lepas, saya bersama keluarga telah pergi ke Sunway Pyramid (ok, ada tak macam ayat karangan BM darjah 5. kehkeh). Serius, dah lama gila tak pergi Sunway Pyramid ni.
Eh lupa pulak, sebelum pergi Sunway Pyramid tu, pergi Jakel dulu sebab kena setelkan baju raya.
Jakel tengah sale hebat sekarang sebab sale sampai 88%% diskaun tu. Saya pun tak sure lah betul ke tak claim tu, dan tak ada masa pun nak cek betul betul sebab orang ramai sangat. Saya adalah jenis orang yang pergi Jakel ni setahun sekali sahaja dan bila terpaksa pergi memang malas sangat sebab fikir manusia yang ramai. Tapi saya dan Husband bertindak bijak di mana saya telah membiarkan Husband drop saya di Jakel supaya saya dapat shopping seorang diri dan Husband membawaHusayn berjalan jalan di dalam kereta. Hehe, dapatlah saya shopping dengan aman. Pening betul pilih kain kat situ!
Pakcik kat atas ni semangat teman isteri dia shopping. Suka tengok dia sebab sangat supportive. Dia cakap kat bini dia "cantik kain ni..", tapi bini dia cakap "isk..tu design lama..". Comellah pakcik. Saya tersengih sorang-sorang dengar dialog diaorang.
Ha ni buktinya Jakel ada sale. Murah tak tu? Ke ada tempat lain lagi murah? Serius saya memang lemah sikit bab kain2 ni. Saya ni fikirkan tailor dah mintak baju raya sebab dah tutup tempahan, tu yang baru sibuk nak beli kain.
Ha akhirnya saya belila kain-kain di atas. Punyala pening fikir nak tema apa untuk raya tahun ni. End up, saya pilih baju yang ada bermacam-macam colour. Kiranya apa-apa warna pon boleh jadi tema. Kehkeh.

Lepas tu saya pergi Sunway Pyramid pulak. Ni bukan saja-saja nak shopping ya, tapi saya terpaksa pergi sebab keadaan kasut -kasut kerja saya sangat menyedihkan. Tapi kagum juga dengan parking di Sunway Pyramid sebab ada lampu untuk setiap parking yang nak menunjukkan dah ada orang parking ke tak. Kalau hijau kosonglah parking tu. Kalau merah ada orang parking. Cool kan. Haha..sorry ya jakun sikit. Kat One Utama takde lagi benda-benda macam ni. Kehkeh.
Ha yang gambar blur kat atas tu kedai Charles & Keith. Baru tau Charles & keith ni ada kat Sunway Pyramid. Ingatkan kat Pavillion je. Nak pengsan saya masuk kedai ni sebab cantik sangat kasutnya. Dahla ada sale!
Woi gorgeousnya kau! Rasa-rasa nak angkat sebakul kasut! Yang sedih saiz yang saya nak tu takdela pulak. Jadi kensel la Charles & Keith. Tapi takpe, sale Charles & Keith ni sampai Ogos. Nanti saya lawat lagi ya!
Beg kat atas ni pulak kat kedai Guess. Beg tu longgok2 je sebab ada diskaun 50 ke 70% tak silap. Tapi saya tak tengok pun harganya sebab saya rasa beg tu agak outdated design. Tak syiok la.Next!
Akhirnya banyak-banyak kedai saya masuk Jusco je lah. Sebab tu je yang paling dekat. Husayn Zharief suka masuk Jusco sebab dia lari ke kaunter dan terus mintak lollipop. Disebabkan mamanya ni nak kasi dia diam sikit, beli je la. Haha. Pandai Jusco ni letak lollipop tu kat kaunter, walhal tu area kasut dan baju. Tapi seriuslah, kasut-kasut kat Jusco Sunway Pyramid ni lagi menarik dari kat Jusco One Utama. Dan akhirnya saya telah membeli si manis berdua ni:
Bolehkah saya berjalan dengan normal apabila memakai wedges setinggi ini?

Juga si manis warna merah ni. Sekarang saya boleh hidup bahagia, tapi kenapa dalam hati kata kasut macam tak cukup lagi? Saya rasa memang patut mendengar instinct dan bersetuju lantas membeli kasut baru lagi!

Padahal sampai ofis terus bukak kasut dan pakai selipar jepun je. Haha.

My LURVE Affair with Twilight

I was 27, happily married with a son and everything seems fine and dandy. The first time I saw you, I was totally hooked and I craved for more. You are so damn beautiful and that intoxicating eyes and your porcelain skin made me keep inventing excuses to see you, time and again. I was addicted and I am ashamed for the fact that I am totally lost in you. I love how those awkward kisses start, always with brooding eyes and I am totally star strucked. Oh my god.

He is the most perfect man I have ever known and she is gorgeous in her own awkward way. Edward and Bella- teenage star crossed lovers ala Romeo and Juliet has turned me into a 17 year old again!

I kept thinking what am I doing? I am married for goodness’ sake and honestly too old for this kind of stuff!

There and then I just realized, I have totally fall in love with Twilight! I am soo in my Twilight-lurve mode!

After watching more than 30 times ( well this is at last count. I stopped counting after that) I set my beloved Twilight DVD aside and my hunger is never satiated.

So I rushed to the nearest MPH and bought myself the book Twilight. It was really love at first read!

I could not stop and it was like plague. God knows I try to fight it off, reading a chapter a day. But I could not and I did not want to so I completely give in. I read Twilight even when Husband in the bedroom and I totally ignore him. I read Twilight while breastfeeding my son. I buried my nose deep into Twilight when we went back to husband’s hometown at Taiping. I spend my free time at the office reading Twilight.

I even started missing my lunch and lost myself in the book through dinner. I reread my favourite scene in the book and I got goose bumps everytime Edward Cullen kiss Bella. I also wish that I have Alice Cullen’s ability to foresee the future. My Twilight book is sleeping beside me every night and everytime my son touch that book I will scream “Noooo!”

Yes, I was really that in lurve.

That was the time when I found LURVE Multigrain Chips and my life is totally complete.

I mean why would you waste 15 minutes of your life to eat lunch when you can read Twilight while snacking on LURVE Multigrain Chips? Heck, I can even read Twilight or watch Twilight DVD and eat in the comfort of my own bed!

And then he asked me the million dollar question,

“What are you doing reading Twilight everyday..and then you go watch the DVD every night before you sleep too..Takde cerita lain ke? Urgh”

My answer was..

“Well, I guess because every girl want a hot vampire boyfriend..and rich too..Haha”

Oh husband, this LURVE is too hard to understand. But I just realised as I was rummaging through the LURVE packaging, there's nothing left! This must be the work of my beloved Husband who don't understand my love for Twilight but somehow has totally understand my love for LURVE! Argh!

Reminder to myself: Must make Husband buy another 3 pack of LURVE to replace everything that he has finished!

p/s: I am thinking of writing an email to Twilight’s author Stephanie Meyer to replace the apple on Twilight’s cover with Lurve Multigrain Chips instead. Totally will match the LURVE theme!

How to watch Manchester United in Malaysia for free legally, without stealing anyone's ticket (but tickets donors are most welcome here!)

I was rummaging in my room and I found an entry in my old diary dated July 12, 1995. OMG, that was like 14 years ago when I was 14! Reminicing through your old diary is one of the benefits of living in the house that you grow up. Hahaha.Here's the entry:

"I don't care if I got stuck up in the smelly mud for hours, even for days..all I want is to watch Man U play in Merdeka Stadium!! That's all...that's all.."

oh yes and then this one from one teenager (which is me!) full of angst, written on 21/7/1995...

"Mom don't let us go to Merdeka Stadium to watch Man U. It really sucks big time! if only I can find a way to go to Merdeka Stadium. Doesn't she realise this is a chance of lifetime..once in a life..Thanks a lot for saying that mom! What a heck!"

eh ni ada satu lagi on match day itself..
"..don't know why every time I see Man U players' faces I just want to cry & cry..yeap, I feel like I really miss 'em..I really can't stand it! I just want to burst into tears..that's it..Red in my veins, red in my heart, red 'till die..Forever Red!"

Ok ok I'll spare you all that emo and misery. Haha. Kan dah kata, I was 14, what do you expect anyway..
Believe it or not 14 years ago was the very first time Sir Alex Ferguson's team set their foot on Malaysian soil. We were living in Kota Bharu at the time and I remember pestering my parents to go watch Man U but of course mom and dad refused outright. I did manage to catch Man U when they came to Malaysia a few years back. And as you guys know Manchester United will be playing again in Malaysia on the 17th of July. Hurray!

So prepare yourself for an army of Red Devils in Stadium Bukit Jalil hopefully with all the first team in tow. Too bad Ronaldo has left, if not we might got to catch the prima donna himself flicking the ball on his feet!

Sulking Saturday and suddenly has become so smart at fixing dented car.

The worst thing that I imagine could happen to my car has finally happened! Yours truly is so pandai and accidentally hit the tiang and my beloved Persona ended up being scratched.
3 months and now it's cacat already. Well of course, my bad.

Here's how the scratch look like. See the 2 ugly yellow lines there?
I was sulking for two whole days seeing that scratch marks. Honestly if you ask me, I don't mind living with stretch marks on my tummy, but to live with scratch marks on my car is totally unbearable! Husband went to workshop the next day and they quoted RM200 for repainting and some job to make the dent disappear. I was of course sulking even more. Banyak tu RM200!

So that afternoon we ended up going to Brother's Kelana Jaya to search for other cheaper solution and to wipe that sulk out of my face of course. It was fun playing around with Husayn in the car on the way there.

Who else but Husayn of course!

I'm not exactly a car buff, but when you have a car of your own, your start to take care of your car like your own husband. Haha.

I like this one and nearly buy it. Priced at RM42++ This product can wipe that scratch marks away and if you have deep scratch mark you just use the chipstik to colour it back to original colour. This product comes in various colours to match your car.

To my utter dismay Husband has chosen this Scratch & Swirl Remover instead of the Colour Cure Plus. I was sulking again because I thought the Colour Cure Plus will be a whole lots better. Of course he just ignored me, what do you expect when it comes to car matter anyway. Haha.
And look what my car has become...

Except for dent, the ugly yellow lines are all gone! For once, I love that Husband has proved me wrong! Hurray! Husband of course kept bragging that I have saved RM20+ ringgit since the remover is priced around RM20++.
